i had my rifle duracoated recently and decided to add a krylon camo job on top of it. i think it turned out pretty darn good but i also wanna see everyone elses so post them up!!! before: after: And after that:

Yeah I used a sponge then sealed it with clear flat.

How well does krylon last compared to duracoat? I guess a lot of it depends on how good your prep work is.

Never had anything duracoated before so can tell you that, but krylon will chip, scratch and rub off. But take a couple of minutes to touch it up. My main reason is to take the glare off the gun

Duracoat is pliable so it will bend before it chips compared to krylon.

Duracoat doesn't even compare to krylon, I've heard Cerakote is a little bit tougher. I'm planning on getting some Cerakote to see just how tough it is. Duracoat will come off if you take a knife and put a good amount of pressure, you can scratch it, however its extremely tough to do that.

Duracoated 20ga and 308. Gonna have to try that sponge technique, looks much easier to do than free handing a airbrush.
