Has anyone ever painted their bow? If so what kind of paint did you use for the riser and especially the limbs?

I have not painted a bow, but I did have one hydrodipped in a different camo. I would not want to paint one though as it may get into the axles.

well you would need to disassemble it completely before painting

Ive painted quite a few risers. Never messed with the limbs though. Dissasembled the bow before painting it. Sanded the riser and degreased it good then I used self etching primer and spray paint. Turned out pretty well.

Good way to change one up!! But you can do it yourself and do a good job as well

I've never had a reason to; but if I had to, I would only have one hydrodipped. I've stained and painted long and recurves I've made.
