QDMA mag has article on plots. Fencing plots allow maturity and growth of food. Taking down when they are at a full stand. Question? Any one ever planted fenced off a portion and have seen results of a failed crop vs. a browsed crop? hard to follow let me know?

We planted some lab lab one year in a dries out old dirt tank. The sheep knocked down our fence and munched out.

Huge difference, I learned the hard way. Your lugumes such as lab labs, or any type of peas are very easy damaged to early heavy grazing. I planted 10 arces of lab labs/ cow pea mix. One week it was 6 inches tall the next it was eaten to the ground and never came back up. The next year we used a 2 part electric fence and removed it after it reached a foot tall and the grazed it very heavy but it lasted until Aug.
