I hunted our there for a couple yrs. in the recent past. We where 20-25 miles south toward Sterling. I wouldnt expect any monsters but the #s were pretty good. Its alot of fun out that way if your on a large ranch. We shared a fence line w/ the Spade. What ranch are you looking at?

I was in the same area towards Sterling hunting with a friend for two years. Lots of deer, blue quail, dove and flocks of turkey. Deer were average though.

Hunted on a friends ranch about 15 miles south of Colorado City the last few years. You'll definitely see deer at the feeders. Early season bow hunting is kind of slow. After 45 minutes from first light go agead and call it a morning. Good thing is if you spook them at the feeder going to the stand the deer are normally back in 5-10 minutes. Owners had pictures of turkeys like what 300J has above. Seemed like they were hit or miss though.
