7mm-08??

Or 7mm remington Magnum? I think you were referring to the 7mm-08 because I didn't know there were many semi-auto 7mm remington mag, but I'm just guessing.

308 winchester is cheaper ang generally more avalable, but the 7mm-08 has a better BC and higher velocity, which result in better long range numbers.

I'd still pick the 308. What do you want to do with it? Hunting: both will kill animals dead.

If it was bolt action and you reloaded I would say 7mm-08. But for a semi I would go 308.

If you reload, 7mm-08. If not, go 308.

get you a winchester model 70 in 30-06.

i want to be like Carlos Hathcock. kill me some "Viet Cong" zombies...

seriously though i had to make the same choice, i couldn't!!! so i went with the 30-06 instead. but if i had to pick again i'd say 308.
