I have some openings this fall for gun and bow hunts around Shamrock TX. Bow hunts $1000 for 3 day & $1300 for 5 day. Gun hunts $1500 for 3 day. That's 1 mature buck and 2 doe and hogs.
We do have a bunch of deer. We have shot 200 doe the last 4 year. The ground isn't as open as most people think. We have lots of cover, tree rows, river, oak motts and shinnery. I have about 50 bow stands up, Ladders, tri pods, hang ons and even some double bull blinds and 10 Shotting houses. I don't have any kill fees or anything like that and it's all LF. Non hunting guest are welcome and I like taking kids.
We have received lots of rain this spring and it's really green so I would assume it should be a good year for bucks.
I have several people from THF that hunt with me and I would be happy for you to contact them.
Attached are some deer from the last couple years.

This drop tine is from 2009

2010 Bow Buck-scored 156

2011-scored 153

2011-scored 152

This buck pic was taken last year after the drought.
I couldn't believe the body size on him.

I have lots of other pics of dead deer and game cams. You can call me 405-229-2969 or email me YBishop@Linnenergy.com

Good Hunting

I have 10,000 acres. Last year we killed 7 bucks the year before we killed 11. Last year I had kids kill 4 cull bucks and the year before we killed 5 culls. These are obvious culls.
I don't do hunts every weekend but I work in that area but live in OK. All my landowners are local.
BMD: I don't know if you've been out lately but man it's GREEN! Grass everywhere and flowers. Looks great.

BMD is just jacking with you. He hunts around there and doesn't want anyone in the area.

Sounds like you have a great place. up

I know BMD does. I ran into him and his family last fall at Mitchells eating a chicken frye steak.
Well if I could affort to pay for all these leases by myself I wouldn't want anyone up there either. ha

Great hunting up there and Yancey has a great place. Some of the best hunting I have ever seen. He also works really hard to put you on some great deer. If you hunt with him you won't regret it.

If I'm not hunting something I must be dead.

Does this include accommodations of any kind? Or does the hunter(s) need to book a hotel? Definitely interested.

I do have a camper that guys can stay in.
It's not much but it's clean and you can cook in it and the shower works. And the rats aren't all that big. ha. Just kidding no rats.

The rats can use the camper as long as they understand to stay out of site and no scurrying about or chewing in the middle of the night. LOL.

I'll be in touch.

He is not lying about his deer. I have hunted with him for 4 years, last year wasn't so good because of the drought, but every other year, it was like trying to figure out which big body deer to take?
You are allowed to take 3 doe in that country, the doe there avg 165 to 200 pounds, Mitchell resturants has good vittles, hotels are reasonable.
Yancy give me the first weekend in december as always. I think I will be bringing at leasat 6 people this year,..
In the past Yancy used to be MLD, he put me out the first year and said I need 9 deer off this piece of land(does), when he came back to get us, I took 6 in 1 1/2 hours my son two and he missed oen. This is all free reange, but when it rains there, the herds are massive....last year I saw a big buck but he was over my shooting distance of 700 yards, he was 14 beautiful point with wide rack, probaly close to 190 I would say, same price as all the others.

Buddy, I wish to compliment you on your site, and efforts to promote hunting..I've cull shot several So. Tex. game ranches over these past 20 or more yrs. and they'd probably charge about
$3K to $7K for the deer you pictured...and would want the people
in and out in a weekend...One of the reasons I never liked paid
hunting and leases....Looks like you have a value for the investment...Many Cudo's...Don

Thanks Don Dial.
I don't do this for a living is one of the main differences. I sell enough turkey and deer hunts to pay for my leases and my expenses. And I have good land owners that are easy to work with and that helps a bunch. Also, almost all my guys come back and that really helps a bunch.
