So, I was going hunting on the day of 12-30-07. I am college student, and with work I have to make a huge effort to go out hunting . My stepfather made plans for us to get out to the lease that morning pretty early. We woke up at about 5 a.m. and on our way we went. We were hunting in Live oak which was about 45 minutes away. Just as we are about 10 minutes away my stepfather turns to me and says i forgot the keys! So we turned back for them, by the time we returned to the lease it was about 7:45 A.m. There were other hunters on the lease some were barely on their way to the blind (guess they were hungover). So I was bummed because i was not to confident of a succesful hunt(feeders were bare). So after an hour of not seeing anything I see something com out of the brush heading straight for the feeder. Sure enough it was a nice eight. I dropped him without allowing a step. Just luckey I guess(should play the lotto). Getting him mounted can't wait to honor him on my wall. Best season yet

Nice buck!

We have enough youth. How about a fountain of "smart"?
