I drew a sheep tag and unit 52 rifle deer tag. New Mexico was nice to me this year

No luck here Well that stinks. Was hoping you got drawn as well. You can go be my sherpa if you want in September?  Still can't believe this. 2 years in a row I've been drawn. Not to mention the only 2 years I've ever put in.

Congrats... how did you do last year? I was in a different and very rugged unit last year. I could have killed several small bulls early, but I choose not to. First day and first set up I had a nice young 5X5 at less than 30 yards with several cows. I did draw on a very nice 350+ bull on the 4th day, but after I got drawn he never gave me a shot. So, I ended up not killing. Two things were working against us. Rained almost every day so water in every canyon not concentrating the elk. Full moon, so they stayed up all night partying with not much activity during the day. It was a great hunt though.

drew ml bull elk in 15, wife drew rifle in 34, cow, deer mine ml in 33, her in 34 rifle, november full all but 1 weekend,
still can't draw a speed goat, 26 yrs straight and no draw
