What is the best scope to use with the xlr 250 led light- I had a nice scope that I used with the light but after each shoot would get a white wash and could not see. I just need a better flash suppressor- Real question is would an eotech work with the xlr-250 if you have tried this please let me know how it worked out.....

Whitewash?
I use mine with a regular nikon prostaff 3x9x40 and it works great.

I doubt the light has anything to do with it, sounds like you are just seeing the muzzle flash.

Muzzle flash or smoke being lit up by the light is what I normally see after a shot.

I think the eotech would work well with the light. I know they work with regular red dots.

I know what you are talking about and it is smoke, not much you can do about it on a still night with a lot of moisture in the air.

Ditto the above. I use an Eotech with flip away magnifier and even with the light mounted out towards the gas block, I still get smoke and haze on still nights.

Muzzle flash or smoke being lit up by the light is what I normally see after a shot. Try it with black powder! Talk about smoke. Every hog I've shot with mine it takes a few seconds before I can see it... of course, I can hear them squeal when they are hit.

It's funny, I've noticed that happens on my AR, not my bolt actions. I think it's two things-short barrel on the AR, and the light is near the bore. On my bolts the light is up high on the scope, well above the bore. More experimentation is in order!

On my ar15 I have the Burris pepr mount and I bought the heavy duty light mount from EWT and mounted in on the front scope ring . Puts light in perfect spot in scope and clear as day never had problems with it
