Got it finished last weekend. We always have tons of slabs around the shop when we change out A/C units. Took a few of them to the ranch to make a bunker to contain the bullets. Bolted a piece of steel to the back one for added safety.  Put a second slab behind the backstop just to be safe. Steel plus 5" of concrete should be plenty.  Built my table the weekend before.   Drilled through each leg and drove rebar through them to keep my "helpers" from knocking it over. They will destroy anything not held down.  Stuck another slab on top and added a piece of 3/4" plywood to staple the targets to.  Got a little more anal and decided I should add some dirt for an even safer backstop.  If a little dirt is good, more must be better.  Final view from the table.  The old man may need reading glasses, but don't bet against him at 100 yards.

Looks good, I would have just done a few things different. Would have made it a lot wider, a lot taller, and would have angled the back down just a bit to avoid richochets back at you.
