Here are some sneak pics of my blonde bear hunt for the hunting show, Livin the Hunt TV, that should be on the sportsman channel starting this June. This was a hunt booked by COA Outfitters in Alberta, Canada. The hunting opportunities for color phased bears are extremely high and quality lodging and guiding is all that is presented. Contact COA Outfitters or myself to find out more info on booking a black bear hunt of a lifetime in Alberta!

I am on my way back to Alberta in a couple of weeks to find me another big bruin. This bear was just shy of Boone and Crocket and squared 7'4". I shot him in 2010 at 30 yards. He now resides in my living room as a full body mount!

After eating Payne's sausage I don't know if I can go back to the regular store bought stuff.

Beautiful bear!!! My boss got this big boar at where I killed mine, he was the biggest black bear killed up there in 10 years of operating that outfitter. around 500lbs, measured out at 8ft squared.

Danger that bear has a ton of hair on him and for him to square at 8' he must have been B&C. Good looking animal. The largest we killed while there was 7'6" while I was there. My bud shot him at 70 yards with a 270. Those Alberta Bears are studs.

Ah man I envy you guys...first able to even take such a bear, then to be able to do a full size mount (my wife would draw the line at that) - then even if I could some how bribe her into it (God knows how many diamonds and dooney&burkes that would cost me) - my damn German Shepherd would undoubtedly pee all over it frown

These aren't the best photos but I thought I'd show you a few pics I took last fall of a very heavy cinnamon colored black bear. I found this bear while in New Mexico scouting some of my favorite elk country. This old boar is about as large as you will see that far south (unit 34). Later guys, Baker

I went to canada in 2004 and shot a black bear. It was a great trip. We fished every morning and hunted in the evening. We drove up there and carried our four wheelers. It was 24 miles one way to my bear stand. it was a great trip and we had a ball. We stayed one week.
