Had Kevin (Sportron on the THF) come up for a hunt on one of my properties in Oklahoma.
Right out of the truck we had birds blowing up!!
We started our walk heading South along the roadside fenceline, in hopes of catching one coming off the roost from across the street.
But it didn't pan out...
We heard a bunch of birds exploding to the Southeast on the property so we headed that way...
picked a good spot to sit, and set up.
We hadn't as much sit down and a "MONSTER" longbeard comes running out of the brush!!!!!!!!
Kevin was trying to get the video camera out of his backpack, and in the process the birds spots him!
So it backpeddles back into the brush, but we had at least 5 more heading in...
I told him not to worry, I'll get him back just "GET READY!!"
About 3 minutes later, here comes 3 more long beards!! And they pull Grandpa into the mix!
10 Yards out they stood, I gave Kevin the go ahead and he Dropped Big Daddy right there! 3" Magnum Blend Hevi-Shot - Game Over!
He really coulda dropped two with one shot, if he wanted to! BUT choose to only get one right now!
We are working on editing the video...(you will have to wait for that)
