I believe they will come apart more readily than a soft point will. If you are going to be shootin through brush you should pick a better bullet, and probably a diff caliber as well.

Not really, a hollow point bullet will deform, but wont open up unless it contacts some type of fluid. A hollow point opens up using hydraulic pressure. When the blood, or water enters the hollow point, the fluid pressure causes the expansion. If for some reason the tip gets clogged with something (hair, or in the case of people clothes) than the hollow point will not work as it is supposed to, and will become a solid bullet.

It probably wont blow up but at the speed its going to ricochet. I would see which one your gun likes better and go with it. I like the Hornady vmax's personally. Devastating on whatever you hit including larger game. Makes the insides go to jello, but no blood trail. Terrible for blowing up fur type little animals like you like!

Thanks guys. I decided to go with the Remington premier acutip 75 gr accutip-v boat tail. I want something that shoots a hell of a group. I hope this works.

Brush Gun, Shoot round nose or the old stand by Core-Lok.
Anything in the bullet flight path will deflect the bullet. You do not actually shoot thru the brush to hit your target.
