My name is Tred Barta, I do hunt with a longbow, I have been at it for a long time. Please stop by tredbarta.com and check it out, i have lots of cool stuff on there, pictures, blogs, shirts, autographs etc. This is a pretty nice forum. I was recently @ Ranger Creek Ranch in TX and really liked it. I hope to hear back from you guys. I hope all is well.

always wanted to try pig hunting with a recurve. I used to kill rabbits as a kid with one, but once i got my first compound i never went back... kinda miss it

Yes, I am in a wheelchair now, so things are just a bit harder. We did see hogs, and turkey, didn't get a shot off at the hogs, released one on a turkey and all i got was feathers.  This place has great food!!! FYI Home made

Wow! Hello Tred. I have to say I have admired your bow hunting before and after the health issues. For someone to continue to thrive at the things they love to do and not let the uncontrollable obstacles get in the way says a lot about that person. Welcome and

Man is an inspiration! My five year old son even knows who he is. He was impressed with his skill and determination for hunting. Forgot to metion, my son called me out after watching one of Tred episodes, said hey daddy you went four times last year and came home with nothi, he was on here for thirty minutes and got one! lol
