Between babies, birds and business I haven't been able to make it to a Taxidermy Competition since 2009. My friend invited me up to Kansas a couple of weeks ago and I took this customer piece with me (Jeff Elder is the proud owner). Thanks for looking - Matt flag

Overheard at my last convention: "If you wanna make a million bucks in taxidermy, start out with 2 million and in 5 years, if you're lucky, you'll have a million left."

Thank you Sir!

My friend called me to come up to Kansas at the last minute to take in a bird seminar I've been wanting to see for the last several years.

I took that woodie so the judge could offer pointers and was very surprised at the outcome. The folks up there were very gracious and did extend another invite. laugh If you get a chance to go up there (Wichita next year) you should go; really great convention they put on.

That was my favorite pheasant of all time! I'm glad folks are liking it and that it has a good home. Good memories of that bird grin:

I hope you can get out more next season. I would be happy to do one up for you. (Just remind me you're a THF member when you call please.) smile
