ive set out a trap for hogs theres signs of them roming the property where i hunt but i stil havent caught nothing people say sow in heat scent works? were could i buy some? People claim all sorts of foods, corn mixes, and scents will attract hogs. In watching the hunting shows, you can see the hunters putting out special foor or an attractant under or by a feeder that spits corn or in a farmer's field that shows damage from previous visits of the hogs. The hunter will then proclaim that the food or attractant worked well after he gets a pig or two. It is something of a bogus bit of proof. Putting our an attractant or special food for hogs at a location where they know food to already be and have hogs come in isn't proof the attractant worked. After all, the hogs already come for the food. You never see them putting that stuff out in some location where there is absolutely no hog sign around and having hogs attracted to the spot. Don't waste your money.

had some hog sign around here.. am sure that ya have tried the corn, it's getting kinda high, a guy sugjested ta me molasses.. found a 50lb bag cheep, took old ice cream pails, poured some molasses & then water, noticed it had a smell, frooze it.. in meen time took old 1 leatter bottle, poured alittle molasses in then added water hung it drilled a small hole in bottom & used as a drip.. some guy's came threw with dogs & got a couple hogs so not sure if it will work, could try it in a trap, molasses with corn & a drip.. again not sure if it will work.. with trapping ya some times get deer, that's the down fall..
