Got pinned down by eight jakes with the Tom in the next opening. After an hour they got out of site. Moved over to the Tom. Could not get him to turn the corner where I was waiting. Used an old trick on Him. I got up, walked 30 yards away from where I was. Did the sweetest yelps You ever heard. Moved back up to where Im set up. 45 seconds and He was in my lap. They hate to have a Hen leave.

Nice Rob. I assume that was earlier this morning and you are now consuming celebratory breakfast ale?

Thanks Guys. I did a rare for me guided Hunt this morning. Perfect Hunt for this Young Man. Walk was less than 600 yards. Turkey Gobbled 100 times. Flew down where we cound see him. Strutted and spit and Drummed all the was to within 15 yards. Stuck his head up when I told him. Died where He was standing. I think this Young man is hooked now.

Very nice Rob. I've found as much as I love to pull the trigger I get more joy out of taking someone that's never killed a bird and seeing the smile on their face after they put a tom on the ground.

+2 I am hoping to call in one for a friend of mine Killed my first rio on Saturday, have killed 6 easterns and called in another 6 for friends. I like calling in birds for others as much or more than I like calling them in for me...
