Poor guy. I hope he makes it. I got my dog the rattlesnake vaccine and now she gets an annual booster shoot. It is not 100% but it will certainly help out in situations like this.

That's great he is getting better. My lab had the vaccine and got bit on the nose. By that afternoon she was acting normal and the swelling was on it's way down. By the next day you couldn't even tell she had been bit. Highly recommend it.

My vet swears by the vaccine. Fortunately we haven't had to test it yet but he says it works amazingly well and is cheap insurance against a bite.

Ive never heard of a little dog taking a hit and living. glad he's ok. I had a bull dog growing up that got bit at least 3-4 times a year. A few benadryl, and he was always good to go.

Of course I read this thread and hope that it never happens then a week or two later it does, lol. Glad to hear the dog is alright!!!!! Had to come back in and make sure! This my Shelby. Two bites from cottonmouth babies the morning after picture.
