Do you think turkeys pick up on pop ups being setup in new places like deer?

We set up our pop-up opening morning and had a turkey on the ground 30 minutes later. They don't pay any attention to it.

Turkeys don't care for the most part. Have shot many after setting them up that morning.

I would say any popup or blind of any kind is better that a moving hunter. Turkeys care about movement

Have seen more turkey when using ground blind than without, guess i cant sit still enough so the blind makes up for my undisciplined movement. Havent yet seen a turkey shy off a popup but yes have had deer spook at them in the past.
