 New Hunter on the way...Getting ready

Some of you may know that I have a little boy due at the beginning of June. We have been trying to get everything ready. Started getting the room ready, got the furniture put together, and my little girl got her new furniture. She has been a big part of the transition and I found out that she LOVES using the nail gun  I put her furniture together and her and Mama decorated the room...surprise, surprise...it is PINK    Once we got that done, I put most the new Baby's furniture together and stuck it in the middle of the room. Put up Wainscot, new trim and Chair railing. No pictures of the little one and her new "toy", but I can assure you that the wainscot isn't going anywhere and I am going to need an extra tube of caulking Still a work in progress...will update as we go

Congrats to you txshntr and mrs txshntr. But I gotta correct you on something..."Some of you may know that I have a little boy due at the beginning of June"... I am thinking that should have said we. Your not going to do this alone I think.

I feel your joy (baby) and pain (remodeling a nursery) my wife and I are expecting a boy towards the end of may... Congrats!!

She goes crazy with that thing.

Don't you remember Daddy letting her shoot a pellet gun when she was 2...  Who knew that a pellet gun kicked  Scope got her in the eye We have been building back up to shooting a "big" gun

Actually, heading to Kansas this weekend to walk around. Was hoping to get up there earlier to find some sheds, but I bet the grass is too high now.

Got her on a bow yet? They don't kick as much. Bought her one for Xmas...she has shot the windows, TV (watching a hunting show  ), the dog, me, her house, her doll house, her lincoln log house (that we had to build over and over), the lego house, and Mama... Mama took it away and wouldn't let me shoot it anymore after that
