bores me greatly! No birds in season to shoot at. Heck even "trolling" has lost its usual luster. Dove season is too far out to get excited about yet. I am going to have to go to the sister forum, and break out my fishing poles for something to do. Oh!, and Treebass you can kiss my arse if you have something to say about getting out in the yard to work!!!(rather have a boil on my left --- than do yard work)

Prefer to have my birds fly in than walk in. Nothing against anyone that turkey hunts. I just does not get me fired up. Would I shoot one, yes, but I am not fanatic about it.

It used to be tough dealing with this time of year, but I think I fish now just as much as I hunt so it keeps me going. Fish frys, cold beer, good friends and family...I guess its not so bad after all

I am busy this time of year, catching up with everything I didn't do in hunting season bang

Throw in golf, fishing, some turkey hunting if I get around to it, a little varmint hunting and all the honey-do's...pretty much all booked up up

Have a little one on the way and have to get the room ready and put together all the new furniture. That will keep me busy for awhile

Couldn't agree more about turkey. I go gig flounder, frogs, and bow fish to keep me occupied and so I don't start too many "projects".

The only thing good about this time of year is I get some sleep and dog training for hunt test.

JUST HERE TO HAVE A GOOD TIME

Yep to the yard work....so in order to relieve my boredom and have hope for dove season - sized and primed 300 hulls.

Work hard, play hard, love without reserve....you can rest in heaven when the journey is over.

I have about 1500 empties that will almost get me through the off season clay shoots and start of dove season.
