I snapped a few pics of my vacation away from college and the big city last week. I had planned on taking a bunch of pics but it turned out I had too much fun to mess with the camera much. We had a bunch of friends out to the ranch for some shooting, bbq and camping. I did a pistol course over the weekend but didn't take any pics this go around. I added a black dot to mark the distance of our targets in some of the pics. Enjoy.

Thanks everyone. San Saba has been my second home for the past few years and I miss it greatly. I hate living in the city. I'm going to TCC to get my basics and a Associates out of the way before I decide to do anything else. I'll be 32 this year so it's a balancing act between work, school and paying bills.

It was cool getting people to shoot out to 500yds that had never shot past 200, especially the guys who didn't think that 223 could go that far. I only got to dope new my rifle out to 650yds due to time constraints but it was still a blast.

Yeah I figured I had to call it a MANCATION since it was spent shooting and killing stuff with Marines, Army, Navy, ex Secret Service, Mil Contractors and Leo's. The term "vacation" just didn't do it justice. wink
