Yeah, I have been checking craigslist every chance I get. I'm not holding out much hope but I have a little glimmer hoping that it will pop up.

A resident saw two white males in a white dodge extended cab with a dent all along the driver side take the trailer. Unfortunately he didn't get a plate #.

My guess as to why it was stolen would be...

1. Stolen to be placed in trailer park around oil drilling areas where guys might actually pay $1,000 month to lease it.

2. Mobil meth lab, sad to say but it happens quite a bit and they find them around lake Texoma all the time especially around platter flats Oklahoma.

But to make you feel better, I put equipment numbers and decals on our D8T CAT DOZER one late friday afternoon in Sept. and went on vacation for a week.....

Came back from vacation and IT HAD BEEN STOLEN! These guys backed a D8T CAT to the back of the job site cleaned the tracks out and hauled it out of our job site at E. Grand and LaVista in Dallas....IT SIMPLY VANISHED ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND 2011

Dallas police dept. came out and handed us a police report and said "here yah go you can file it on your insurance"; and that was all the effort put into locating a $500,000 peice of 110,000lbs, 14ft wide, 12ft tall & POWER HOUSE YELLOW *%$#ING STOLEN BULL DOZER!

Sorry to go on a rant but just goes to show you if they want it, they will take it. You locked the trailer and did all you could, I thought my 7 stolen guns were gone but I got 4 back and the guy who stole them did 2 years.

that is about par for San Antonio and Austin also. In the last 6 months I had two medium duty wreckers get stolen Ford F550's that I had just finished refurbishing. Both where recovered and I even had a solid lead on one of them and nothing came of it. The other caught on fire and was a total loss. I've hunted down stolen equipment and got it back my self in the past.

There was no gps on that dozer? Around labor day of 2011? One of my customer impounded a black long hood pete that was running around swiping equipment all over the state, truck looked like somthing out of Mad Max. Not really low key but apparently this group was stealing all kinds of big trucks and construction equipment. This was around the same time frame if I remember right. I hope you find that but you will probably get a call years later like we did.

A truck that was stolen from us back in the late 80's and in 1998 or so we recieved a call from Chicago PD that they found a Detroit V12 and traced it back to us with the serial number and wanted to know if we wanted it back. I hate thieves with a passion as all of yall.

and to the op I hope you find your trailer. But oilfield would be my guess also.

Unfortunately no updates. The truck description helps but we'll see. I sure hope karma catches up to these guys...I want them to live but at least lose a nut or something.

Got a call today from a buddy in the Allen PD, they think they found the trailer in Dallas. I am waiting on a call from Dallas PD to see about when/where I can pick it up. This is honestly great news, let's just hope its still in good condition.

D*%#& BAG

This pic is in his drive way and he said it was parked in an apartment complex, which is probably gated and he said "they stole the lock too".

Glad to hear it's been found and fingers crossed everything is intact.
