These pigs were wounded in battle as the fighting swept through their sleepy little village. When I happened upon them, they were barely breathing. True to my motto of "no pig left behind", I drug them to safety and rendered aid.  This hog had cutters as big as deer antlers   Sleepy little village (pre-war era)

Hog hunting has suffered a bit of a setback. I've taken 44 this year compared to 117 by the end of march last year. Gone are the days of double digit slaughters in open fields. Now I'm puddle jumping whatever I can off feeders next to brush. Lucky to get two or three shots.
