You will be happy with the Zeiss, I've never regretted buying quality optics. Well done. Baker

I went Bushnell 4200 - Zeiss and then Burris and Thought to myself that Burris is pretty darn good. But now I'm back in a zeiss and its so far beyond clarity wise. Even with a boring old 3-9 soooo much clear at 100 yards.

everyone knows BMD is a huge leupold fan. He likes their multicoated optics... and gold ring, and stuff Put down the pipe and walk away! I dont own a leupy Leupolds are way over rated IMHO. Nikon and even Alpen for the money are better.

Have you ever used the accu point triangle? It looks pretty cool. I think I may try one out. Thanks for the input.

Leupold or Ziess Looked through both side x side and the 44mm Ziess was brighter than the 50mm Leupold. VX3 and Conquest. Just mounted one on my 22-250 for general hunting....brightest scope I've seen...unless Swaravski is better...

took off my Swift and there is a rattle from a screw inside the scope that caused the crosshairs to rotate.
Replacement already in hand but will stay in the box until I can put it on my Browning 243 due to the high recoil of the 300WM

The next in line is their European entry level model Duralyt. If you want the best you have to move to their Victory line. Conquest < Duralyt < Classic < Victory If you want to make sure optics aren't the problem, here's your scope: http://www.opticsplanet.net/zeiss-victory-3-12x56-riflescopes-30mm.html

I have a Burris $35 dollars no problems bought in 1986 in high school used( first scope I ever bought), Nikon $345 no problems 4 years old , 5 Leupolds 3 are VXIII and the other two are mark 4 prices ranged from $350 - $1400 no problems owned 15 years to 9 months, Swaravski $1200 broke after owning 6 months they repaired the scope for free great customer service no problems since have owned 18 months now, night force $1800 dollars owned 2 months no problems, Schmidt and bender bought in 1994 for $1200 which was a lot of money for me being a pfc in the army broke twice first repair 1997 replaced parts for free but charged me 600 German marks labor which came out to be about $375 dollars broke last year 2010 again sent scope back to S&B USA they Rebuilt the scope pa charged me shipping to Germany and back and charged me $753 labor and parts and would not give scope back till I paid it I still like the scope but get very frustrated with S&B very nice on the phone not very good customer service for what the scope cost. / Swaravski has a lifetime warranty parts and labor and Leupold has a lifetime warranty parts and labor on most scopes it seems to me most expensive is not always the best look at my Burris $35 never let me down shot a Antelope in Wyoming with it last 2010 year 523 yards still works fine I still own all these scopes just food for thought
