Ok so I am wanting to upgrade from the bow I have now. No complaints with the current one other than it is about 8 years old. Wanting something newer. So my question is what is the best bow on the market for under $500.00 dollars. I have looked at some at Bass Pro. I really like the Bear it comes with everything for $499.00. Not sure what model it is. Also they have some PSE bows in the $400 dollar range. Does anyone have one? How do they shoot?

Are you talking about a bare bow or outfitted? Cause some of the mission bows from mathews are nice.

Diamond outlaw is hard to beat. Bow tech assain for a few dollars more.
Pse bow madness are great bows as well.

Daivd's in Weatherford had some loaded outlaw's for 349.00, just before Christmas. One of my employees bought one for his son.

I bought the Diamond Outlaw this past season and is an awesome piece of equipement so don't let the price fool ya. Very nice bow and well made.

PSE Stinger I believe comes out dead at $500 and is a really nice bow
Isn't it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back everything is different.
Nowadays people know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

One of my former players bought a Bear Legion from Bass Pro fully outfitted a couple of weeks ago. Sems it was just under 500.00. We sighted it in behind the house and it is a very nice shooting bow. Started with a Bear back in the 80's and have migrated back to them.
Talent is a gift, character is a decision.

Diamond, made by Bowtech, for the price range. They are very smooth and accurate shooting bows. Its what I started with and the addiction remains! And the Diamond Outlaw pkg is on sale at Cabelas for $499

I just got a Bear Encounter RTH package last week for $399.99, I am a beginner bow hunter, however I did test fire the diamond outlaw, and the bear legion. I liked all of them. However seeing as I'm not as experienced as what to look for in a bow other then they all shot very smooth and were super quite.
I do not think I'll be disappointed this season. I'm already shooting 2 inch group at 20 yards. I'm fairly happy with the bow. however either are really good in my opinion.

Before you buy, try the Quest Primal by G5. Had this bow almost 2 years and it is great. Rock solid back wall, smooth draw, fast(330 IBO), quiet, accurate/consistent................
I cant say enough. It is around $550 and absolutely worth it.

I have a limb savers proton. I have had a Matthews, pse, bowtech, and diamond. I will give the above their due but I'm REALLY impressed with this limbsavers. I'd they keep up with the quality I'll stick with them they are such a smooth bow imo

Buy a top of the line used bow and put QUALITY accessories on it. I have never seen a package bow that didnt have junk for accessories on it.
