A friend of mine, Tom Olah of Wildcat Archery, is hosting a TBOT shoot and a fun shoot so I thought I would help spread the word a bit. The course is pretty wild, making its way along a large creek and rugged hill side. I took my tractor out there did some mowing out there a couple of weeks ago and it was looking pretty good and he has been working like a mad man getting the course ready so I am sure it is even better now. Lots of room for camping and hiking.

I figure since he graciously let me hunt out there all last season that the least I can do is help him spread the word on his events.

Wildcat Archery, Muenster Texas is having their grand opening with ribbon cutting ceremonies, Saturday March 24, 2012 at 8:00 am. The Range is 13.4 miles north of Muenster, Texas on FM 373 at the old town site of Bulcher. The Range follows the contours of the scenic 87 acres, of creeks, hills, draws and 100 year old oaks. When you get to the range you will be stepping into a natural 3D terrain course that is set up with simulated hunting scenarios. Range has many diverse shooting situations, like pop-up blinds, tree stands, moving targets and many more. It is a good way for archery hunters to hone their skills and for the beginners to learn a new sport. Wildcat Archery has bows on site for the youth, age 12 and younger (limited supply), that want to learn the sport of archery. All types of bows welcome with the use of field tips only. There is a total of 30 real life 3D targets with more scheduled to be added in the near future.

Traditional Bow Hunters of Texas (TBOT) and Predator Longbows have chosen the Wildcat Archery Range for their Annual Muenster 2012 Traditional Bow Tournament. Traditional bows include longbows, self bows and recurves. All events start March 24, 2012 at 7:00 am and end Sunday March 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM, with awards and door prizes to follow. There will be vendors on site selling everything from hand crafted bows and arrows, leather works, archery supplies, plus many other items.
