Hey Guys. I'm thinking about ordering one of these polymer lowers, and I need some help. http://www.texashuntingforum.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3037692/1Can anybody suggest a complete upper (preferably in .223) for this? I'm still pretty new to AR's and would appreciate the help. Not looking to go into battle, just want something to dink around with at the range & maybe kill a few pigs. I'd appreciate any help/suggestions.

Depending on your budget checkout dsa arms, and palmetto state armory.

Midwayusa is having a sale... you can get several configurations of upper (complete) shipped to you for less than 400 bucks

You'll get a lot of opinions. Cheap as possible, I had a DPMS for about 400 rounds for less than $400. It was an A2 with fixed iron sights that ran pretty well. Got rid of it cause I wanted a flat-top.
Replaced it with a BCM middy which I LOVE! It cost me ~$560 with a magpul handguard, and it is worth the extra money. Qality equipment isn't cheap. A good fixed iron sight is $60, a folding is $110.
Magpul makes a great set of handguards for ~$30 (only problem is they are not free floated). This is my experience. Good luck.

Aaron, I am right there with you. I would like to see what I could put together on a budget.
Any and all suggestions would be great.

I'm not a big fan of polymer lowers but that's another discussion. I believe this kit is about as cheap as you'll get for a complete rifle minus lower. Free shipping and $10 handling fee. Note not all parts are new but they have good reviews. http://e-sarcoinc.com/ar15flattopcomppartssetldetachablecarryhandlewa2rearsightessrecw.aspxThe Del-Ton kits at Midway with a promo code are pretty close to this price too depending on what the current discount is.
