Hey yall I'm new to this forum, and I was wondering if anyone knows of any good spots in the Keller area, for squirrel hunting with a sling shot.

Might I suggest the city park has always been a favorite spot of mine. Lots of residents like to participate by baiting them for me and I use shot that is painted yellow to resemble corn. When I hit one I say "look, Ive got them trained to roll over and play dead so I will give them more of my "special" corn".

Come on ,cut him some slack.

I was just razzin a little . Seriously, try up on the corp property at the north end of Lake Grapevine. Other than that just try to get permission from a property owner there in town, Havent studied up on Keller ordinances about sling shots in the city limits but you might wanna check first. Good luck and nail a few for me! I love me some fried squirrel with cream gravy and bisquits!

Sling shots are not an approved weapon for game animals, squirrel's included.

But are they dis-approved??
And frankly even if they are some rules are made to be broken.

Yea, by outlaws and those with no respect for the law or game involved. Nothing but a stinking poacher!

Some rules are indeed meant to be broken. It was rule breakers that created this country.
If some brave men and women had not went against the rules this country would still be bending a knee to a king.
If men had not broken the rules they would have surrendered the cannon at Gonzales, they would not have stood at the Alamo.
I could go on and on but there is no need, this country was not built on an attitude of following the rules, it was built by people who threw the dam tea overboard.
I do not place myself in the same class as those brave men

You hide behind your computer and call me names like an old woman, but that does some old ladies I know an injustice.
I have known many old women with more guts than you.

Yer probably right.
Just have an issue with people who hide behind their computer and call other folks names.
specially when that other folks is me.
Think its time for me to invest in a new wrist rocket, haven't wanted to go squirrel hunting this much in a while.
