Need some advice on time and temp. Have an electric smoker that ranges from 100-275 degrees. Will be cooking complete ribs cut in 4 pieces. Thanks

Never used a smoker, but in the oven you would normally cook them about 2.5 hours to 3 hours on 275.

Cook them as slow and low as you can.

Ive tried to cook wild hog ribs a few times and ive come to the conclusion that they are not worth the trouble. Not bad, but not that great either. Not a lot of meat on them either.

Hopefully you are a better cook than me and won't mind sharing how you cooked them later.

So the ribs didn't turn out as great as I hoped, but there weren't any left this morning. The flavor was good, just not strong enough. I put a rub on them and let them sit in a sealed container over night. Then into the smoker set at 215 for 30 min. Added some Jack Daniels wood chips and smoked for 2 hours. Pulled them out added some apple juice and wrapped them tightly in tin foil. Back in the cooker for 5 hours at 215. They where tender and tasty. Just could have used a little more rub.
