Wow, they have Dama Gazelle for $1,000 as well! I figured that was a typo..... So I called them....and they told me it's actually a single Dama Gazelle/Grants Gazelle hybrid with only 6"-7" horns, hence the low price. I was getting excited for a second there!! lol

I go by this ranch on the way to my lease in Comanche. They do have some great looking oryx and black bucks that I see from Hwy 36; the black bucks are nearly always in the pasture in the afternoon....they'll make you slow down and look! !!

Has anybody hunted with Little Bear before and is it recommended. I am from Minnesota and was looking to take my daughter and son down on a hunt somewhere nice that won't break the bank. This looks like a very nice place to take a family but almost sounds to good to be true. Just wondering what everybodys opion is of the place or if there is something better. Thanks Alan

Nice place, a good friend of mine built the lodge, and houses there as well as some very comfortable stands. It is a short drive from Hamilton out 36 to it and like someone said you often see the blackbucks from the road.

Has anyone talked to them about the Oryx for $1000 yet as to what they have? I've been waiting to hear about another deal I've been trying to work out that is cheaper, but so far it hasn't come to fruition. With my luck by the time I know for sure on that one, these will be gone.

Cows, bulls or both? Shoot, it looks like Hamilton is alot closer to me than the other place I was looking at, I would probably save a good part (if not all) of the difference between the two places on gas. I think I'll call them tomorrow myself. Size is the same on the animals between the two places. That combo#2 is a dang good deal. Too bad I already have an axis and a blackbuck on the wall though I could definitely stand to get a better axis. Still with money the way it is I think I'll inquire about just an Oryx and maybe a blackbuck doe for my son. Thanks, Earl Talked to them today said 38"+

I did book with them. I'll hopefully have some photos and a report a week from today. He has a heard of 10 to 15 Oryx left (perhaps more). The ranch is 1200 acres in size. The oryx in question are cows. He does have a big bull but they aren't wanting him hunted. As reported the Oryx cows are upper 30's. They shot a 38" cow on Monday and have others that are larger. Thanks Goldstein. I'm pumped. Haven't gone after an Exotic in more than 2 years now. I should have been working but spent time this afternoon making arrangements with meat processors and taxidermists. Going to take it to Wesley Toten in Waco for a wall pedastal mount. Earl

Spoke to Tater today to book a hunt, but they are booked and on a waiting list for the Oryx. Hopefully something opens up. Really want to get an Oryx before the deadline. Good luck to those that got a hunt booked.
