I would take the pictures to the local high schools and ask the principals if they recognize them. These guys look fairly young and I bet they were in school in the last few years. Just a thought.

Good call there...

Also...think about moving the trail cams to a different location...one day they may come to their senses and destroy or steal them...

Im not trying to defend any trespassers or poachers. But do you think they could just be lost? I would think trespassers or poachers would of snatched the cameras up the second they saw them.

Didnt read the entire thread though

Nah, they show up the same time of the day everytime and have been on the cameras since the day I put them out for the most part.

As far as moving them, that is my next task to do as they know where at least two of them are so they can avoid them. My land is super thick, if you aren't walking on a path/trail you can't walk at all.

maybe time for you and a few buddies to sit in the woods for a few days and maybe get acquainted with these "gentlemen".

Just a thought...Maybe dumb or stupid is a moot point. I would have to consider the term brazen. Of course that may conjure thoughts of danger but maybe that's what they're going for. They know you've seen their faces and they just don't care. Maybe they are sending some kind of mental warning. I would get local law enforcement involved fairly quickly. Even if only to give them notice...they may have past issues with these guys.

Yeah, I sent the pictures to the GW as well as the Sheriff's department and filed complaints with both of them just to be safe. I just want them to stay off my land and that will be the end, however if they keep showing their faces I will be relentless in the pursuit of getting them.

The only one I have found is bowsite.com which has regions, but is hardly has any traffic at all, maybe a new topic once a week. I did find a forum specific to Hugo, OK topix.com but all it is is a bunch of crackheads talking about fighting each other and ratting on others...of course I posted their thinking one might want to make some money and rat out their buddy but no luck so far.

Almost seems like they think they are allowed to be there. Maybe Grandpa told them where his land was and they got confused and wound up on the wrong piece of land.

"Hey, check dis out. Somebody put feeders and blinds out here for us to use... and whose cameras are these???"

They keep coming back at roughly the same times?

Probably smoking weed on your place because no one is around.

Why not put a note someplace obvious where they will find it that simply states that YOU are the owner of the property and that THEIR pictures have been turned over to local law enforcement & the Game Warden and that they are trespassing, and charges will be filed. Also state that if they STOP trespassing & poaching, that you will not have them locked up (maybe not the truth, but if you can get them to stop without further legal action, better for all).

My guess is this will do one of two things, or both. A. They will realize they are in some trouble and leave and not come back. B. They will get pissed and either steal, or destroy, all of your stuff, and never come back.

I'm guessing since they are young, they probably use Facebook. If you could somehow find their pages, you could check the pictures and see if it is them. What if you left a note stating you wanted to hook up to hunt together just to see if they are dumb enough to respond.. From their current pics, they just might be.

I'm following the post to see if you can find them. I love justice. It's just so darn rare to see anymore.

They must be complete idiots not to at least take the SD card from the camera if you didnt have it locked up. Heck I wish the poachers around my place were that dumb. I had two cameras stolen right after Christmas

We are about 30 miles north east of you, and have problems often with the locals on our land.

Check laws in OK for trespass with gun statutes...here in Texas is a felony to cross a fence with any firearm resulting in State Jail Felony. I have seen some signs used here in TX that had PC Statute listed along with no trespass warning from state game warden association endorsement. I have posted a landowners land with trespass warning signs from the county DA office that were very effective at stopping his trespass problems, he had two stocked bass ponds that locals would visit regularly...after couple of arrests they stopped coming. Bad news travels fastest.

Use some of your reward money and run an add in the local paper with their picture.

Did you ever stop and think they might not know they are trespassing? Maybe that's why they haven't stolen your cameras??? Perhaps they think the land belongs to someone else?

And don't put it past someone to lease your land out without your permission. I've seen it happen.
