I'm looking for an American Bison meat hunt for a Buddy and I.
What's a reasonable price for this in today's market? I'm in D/FW, but don't mind travelin a bit.

Archery? Sweetwater Creek bowhunting ranch in Decatur. I shot one a few years ago there. Cost me $950, but I believe the prices have gone up. But its close to home which is always a good thing.

Is that place off of 380? I saw a heard of Oryx around Decatur off of 380 going to and from my hunting lease this year and was wondering if they are available to hunt - seems like they don't have alot of cover though. X2 On Sweetwater. There prices have gone up because food is now inlcuded in the packages. They have a great herd of bison and great people.
Earl, I don't think that was the place unless they acquired some Oryx recently. I am not sure what county road, but they are south of 380 about 7 miles I think.

My son shot a big bull @ WRS ranch near kerrville, $1500 and he got a red hind also. Ask Jorge, I believe he can get them.

The site on that says $5,000.
That's way out of my range.
I don't mind traveling 3-4 hours for a good deal.
