If I wanted to convert an existing AR-15 2.23 upper to a 300 Blackout can I just replace the existing 2.23 barrel with a 300 Blackout barrel? Thanks in advance.

I believe so. Dont think you have to change mags or bolts.....just the barrel.

You need to have a pistol or carbine length gas system.
