9100 +/- acre ranch consisting 421 acres of CRP, 250 acres of irrigated farmland with the remaining balance being native grassland. The ranch is located in Dallam County north of the town of Dalhart, Texas, which is 80 miles north of Amarillo, Texas in the Central Flyway. This Region of the Texas Panhandle is home to over 300,000 wintering waterfowl. The Ranch is home to the historical Buffalo Springs. The ranch has a nice 6-7 acre pond. It also has approximately 1.5 miles of creek, and several smaller ponds that contain year round water. The ranch also has several smaller playa lakes that will have water on wet years. This ranch is in the far northwest corner of the panhandle of Texas and many miles from other sources of year round water. This makes it a true magnet for waterfowl and wildlife.

These springs are home to 1000s of ducks and some geese during the winter time. The farmland and CRP will also be home to some pheasants. The lease includes waterfowl, pheasant, prairie dogs and coyote hunting. I will also allow for one hunter to shoot one whitetail buck.

I would like to see no more than 4 hunters on the lease. (somewhat flexible ex. kids, guests) Lodging is available on site. The price is $5000 for the whole lease. This is a season long lease. Will allow access for maintenance of blinds, feeders etc in off season... Contact me via pm, email or phone for more details or to see the ranch.

No mule deer around?

As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind...Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks--Thomas Jefferson

Jeremy, does the lease include full-season quail?

We occasionally see some mule deer but more commonly whitetails. I should say 1 mule deer or whitetail buck I guess.

There are no quail on the ranch.

Ghostrider I look forward to talking to you.

Just by the looks of that very first picture....I could shoot my limit in about 5 minutes. So what else is there to do on the lease?

Is this lease available for deer season, duck season, varmit season and fishing season?
