Here are some photos of the hawks, peregrines and an eagle that were at the Texas Hawking Association meet in Abilene.

This is the eagle that was one of the eagles that was there. Be sure and look at the size of the talons in the second photo.

You better ask Crazy Horse, I am not sure, They had a bunch of different kinds, and I lost track of the names after awhile. If Titanium Talons shows up he can tell you, he may even know who the owner is.

The bird in the fourth picture appears to me to be a Peregrine Falcon.

The bird in the fifth picture is a Harris Hawk.

Crazy Horse it right , it is a peregrine, I remember because that was one of the high dollar birds. The other is a Harris hawk. All I really know is that this is a time and dollar expensive sport. Also an amazing sport.

Rabbits were far and few in between, one guy told me that he hunted for 3 hours and saw one rabbit. A lot of walking and beating the bushes to rattle out one rabbit.
