I believe Stag Arms makes a southpaw, but don't hold me to that.

You use any standard AR 15 lower. Stag is the only manufacturer of the lefty upper and BCG as far as I know. I built 3 for several guys last year and the only difference is the upper receiver and BCG.

Black Hole Weaponry was producing some internally railed left hand upper receivers and bcg's last time I looked.

It would definitely be interesting to see and fire a lefty AR. After they put the deflector on them the only thing that caused me any problems was catching hot brass down my collar from the firing point to my left. I kind of like the selector switch where my trigger finger can get to it and the magazine release and forward assist are just a thumb-stretch away. Also, I really like to be able to just peek and see if the chambers empty or all the way home. Mmmmmm, sweet, sweet black gun. Do Daddy's talkin' for him and I promise a nice light coating of CLP back at the armory and a nice rub down with a cotton diaper. That's right baby, I know what you like. Its like we gonna make puddin' baby... cook...and chill. Awwww yeaaah. (Props to Barry & Levon)

A little clarity for those of you that no comprende... "I really like my M16A2 and appreciate its accuracy and manufactured quality. If we shoot at least 220 (that's low expert for you non-rates)on the range I promise to clean you extremely well and lubricate you appropriately and remove all excess lubrication with a soft cotton towel so when you are locked up in the armory where I cannot have access to you you will not suffer from rust nor will you be too slippery for the armorer's handling. I know this is in accordance with the Armory's Officers wishes and best for you. We will do extremely well on the range, fire when told to fire and cease fire when told to cease fire".

Creed of the United States Marine Rifleman

This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My rifle, without me, is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will...

My rifle and myself know that what counts in this war is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, or the smoke we make. We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit...

My rifle is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its barrel. I will keep my rifle clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will...

Before God, I swear this creed. My rifle and myself are the defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life.

So be it, until victory is America's and there is no enemy, but peace!

Death smiles at everyone. Marines smile back.
