Two weeks before the end of last deer season I use some Christmas money and bout a pair of 10x42 Leupold BX-2 Cascade binos to replace my Steiner 8x30s and love them.

Besides about $50, do you know what the difference is between the Acadia's and Cascades? These are some I'm also looking at, as well as Nikon.

I've got some Acadias; they work pretty well for the price. To be honest, I wish I'd have spent the extra $75 and got the Nikon Monarch ATB 10x42s. Just a tad brighter, clearer. Though to be fair, you can't beat the Leupy warranty. I sent mine in for a loose diopter adjuster, they sent me a brand new pair.

If I was doing it again I'd look real hard at the Vortex.
