Anyone ever ate here? Opinions?
This place is owned by the same guys as Twisted Root. I like twisted root, and wanted to get some opinions on this place before i make the drive out there.

First time I went around dinner time and it was great. Second time it was pre lunch crowd and it was not so great. Food was cold. All I have tried were the brisket tacos. Four thumbs up! Even cold.

I used to go to the one in Deep Ellum before it closed a while back. Best experience was when it was slow, after the major lunch crowd... Especially loved the Mashed Tater Parfait – i.e. layers of brisket, mashed tater goodness, “cowboy caviar” (yummy black beans and corn mix), cheddar cheese and tortilla strips all jam-packed into a mason jar. Now here’s a word of advice: it only looks small. The brisket tacos were good too.
