no that i would do it but would you take a mare's leg to hunt?

I've seen people talk about using it for hiking or camping but if i'm doing either, i think i would still take a actual pistol.

but I can see it taking down yotes and those vicious rabbits smile

Im a noob.

America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards. Claire Wolfe

I can think of easier hand guns to carry but those things do look cool.

Well ......... This may show my ignorance, but I had no idea what you were talking about. Had to go to the internet to look it up.
NOW I KNOW.

Didn't know what a mares leg was either until I saw one at a gun show. I was thinking, "a red dot or laser, that would be a fun varmint gun!"

Im a noob.

From what I was told, they are registered as a handgun.

Based on what I have seen from the people that own them, they don't generally shoot them very well as a pistol. However, they often have enough stock to be shoulder CQB style and can be shot well that way. It looks funny, but works.
