Retiring Jan. 31st. Wife and I are looking for a year round lease in a area where 150 class bucks are common in the area. Anywhere in Texas is ok. Would like water and elect. if possible. We only want to deal with land owners only PLEASE. We are very management minded hunters. Not looking to join a group. PM me

Saturday bump. Surely theres a 175-250 acre place out there in good deer country that could be leased by a mature, retired, management minded couple. Thanks

Sunday bump. Probably going to give up on this sight after this one. Think I will just fish. Good luck to all looking for a lease.

Bass guy, this has never been a very good place to find a lease. Very few show up and there are hundreds looking. You are much better off checking some of the actual lease sites and classifieds like Craig's list regularly. Also a lot more leases will open up at the end of turkey season because most year round leases cover turkey season and then people will opt out and then they go on the market.

Hope this helps. Don't get discouraged, just browse regularly.

Good luck!

The retired statement scares alot of landowners off... i leased my property to a "retired" couple a few years back and they pulled their 150,000 RV on the property and basically lived there. Not saying thats what you had in mind, but might be why your not getting much response.
