Looks like you need to go to Buda. I think there's more Savage lefties out there than many other brands but they're still hard to come by. I've ordered (and waited) ever left hand Savage I own.

I am a lefty and had the 338 bug real bad a few years ago..I have
a L/H Savage Stainless w/break..BBL is too short, but it shoots.
I also have a RH Mod 77 Ruger w/Mtn Stock, and had a Ruger No 1
w/a Break...It outshot all of the above, if velocity counts..

The Savage Weather Warrior has about a 20 1/2in bbl and will chronograph loads about 250FPS slower than the book min...down
here...I shot 185 grain X bullets in the Ruger No 1 and chro was
3173FPS just like my 300 Weatherby w/180 gr X...

The Savage is very accurate...but I got around 2500FPS w/250 grain projectiles that the book had at about 2850fps

I'm a lefty also and always on the lookout for used bolt actions, I was surprised that they had this new 338 out on the used rack and even more surprised when I noticed they had 2 other LH Savages as well. One was a 270WSM and the other was a 30-06, both SS with the black synthetic stock. I think they were all priced at $549 or $599 each.

What 338 are we talking about?

I know where you can get some left hand actions for a decent price if you want to do a build.

Call Savage as well and see what they can build you, they can do a lot for you if you call.

Yep need clarification. But I think he's talking about .338 Win Mag not Lapua Mag.

I called Savage two years ago and asked if they would sell me a LH short action. All I got was "no, we can't do that."

That surprised me.

They sell the 12 Target Action. Actually I received two different answer form Savage people at SHOT, the marketing director said they no longer do, a Senior Engineer said they do.

Have a .308 that's gonna get turned into a .260 in the next couple of weeks. I've also got a LH Rem 700 BDL .338 Win Mag that's gonna start a new life as a 7 Mag and McMillan stock.

I was in search of the lapua. I have a ruger left hand 300 mag. Probably better off customizing that huh? I am no guru to guns but I know my three hundred will reach out and touch something.
