Do any of you own a Charter Arms firearm? A friend of mine is getting rid of his Off Duty .38 spl at a reasonable price and I was curious if it was worth the investment. I have heard they are accurate and reliable, especially if used as a gun truck. I know they are American made and have a lifetime warranty, but have also heard about them having quality issues.

Your thoughts?

I had a Charter Bull Dog pug .44 and it was a good gun. It never let me down. And dad still has a charter under cover .38, has owned it for 20 years or so and its been a great gun too.

Love my stainless 44 special bulldog with laser. It's my nightstand gun.

I have three, Undercover, Bulldog, and Explorer but they are early model guns. Mine are great, but I know Charter Arms changed ownership several times and I have heard various stories. As stated, I have three, no issues with them. North of Dallas I have seen them priced under $200.00.
