Its a Beretta.
You can search the world over but you wont find a better made shotgun.

I shoot the Extrema II and I love it. A friend of mine just bought the A400, I shot a couple boxes out of it and thought it was a good gun. You can't beat a beretta.

Looks like a nice gun. There have been a couple of threads on this forum about the A400's.

The biggest difference I could tell between a buddy's A400 Xtreme and my A391 Xtrema2 are:

Moved Kick-Off forward for better balance and faster take down with the new end cap.

The controls were the same and I did not notice a difference in kick. They are both soft shooters.

I shot the BIL's A400, the one with the blue receiver. It had the kick-off and I have to admit I was impressed with it. Not $1400+ impressed but impressed none the less.

I am waiting on the A300 Outlander, I have one on order. I just hope it has the 391 profile and 390 trigger ........ grin

I have the Extrema II and love it. I have probably put 5-8 cases of shells throughout it without a hiccup or a jam. My BIL has the new A400, its a sweet shooting gun and def worth the price.

As long as it fits and feels good you can't go wrong with a Beretta.

I'm about to buy the Beretta Xplor Light. Basically the non duckhunting version of the xtreme since it doesnt take 3.5". I dont need it to take the bigger shells since 99% of my shots will be with 2.75" shells.

I:ve been researching for over a month and have narrowed it down to that gun... if it feels good, buy it.

Cabelas had the xtreme at 1600 I think. and I believe it is on sale right now for 1400.

I think they had the xplor light for 1400, but I need to double check since they dont show it on their website.
