Can tell you in our area for a good lease without knowing anyone is going to run you 1500-4000 for year round access & maybe a camping spot (no paid electricity and you provide your own pole and get elec cut on to your spot). One lease is 2000 for a lease spot and 10K a year for personal cabin use: one doesn't come without the other. None come with stands, feeders, seed and often require a atv/utv to get to stands. (And this is deep etx)

13K acres between Big Spring and Sterling City, $3500 per gun. After lease was signed, certain deer were called off limits by the land owner, we were accused of damages in pastures that we didn't have leased and were un-acessable (different locks) and landowners friends and family were allowed on our pastures. Our lease specifically disallowed most of this, but we decided it's not worth the fight..... We're moving on next year. Unfortunately, landowner will have little trouble filling the $40k gap next year.

We lease 500 acres in Tom Green county. 3 hunters @ $1000 a piece. We have it year round. Great turkey and dove hunting. There is a trailer on the property, no electricity or running water. It is a family lease and we have been on it since 1997. It's not a trophy lease by any means, but we have a great time and fill our freezers each year.

this yr ill pay 850 for the lease spot and camp fees. elec varies prolly dont spend more than 250-300 for the entire yr. its a little redneck but our camp is one of the best parts of this place...lol. each member gets two spots. we supply all our own stands, feeders, corn, etc. its over 10k acres. mld3, we get a buck 14" or better and two does. the hunting is mediocre and the place has way way to many hunters but i enjoy being on the place. we do however pull a few nice bucks off it every yr(130ish). will eventually get me a second lease out west or down south but cant see myself getting off this one even when i do.....that is if im not run over by a tanker flying down our roads at 40 some odd mph.

Dang guys some of y'all must be loaded, more power to ya. 600 acres help owner with whatever he needs thru out the year. Fencing, plowing, and feeding horses. He doesn't live there so I'm his eyes on the lease, let him know what's going on. Been there 4 years, god willing I'll be there next year. That's in fisher,my other lease is 250 acres in Nolan, family friend, had that one 2 years. Do what I can for her but she never wants me to do much, wouldn't even take some processed meat from me this year. She just says have fun and take the kiddos. Now that deer seasons over a whole bunch of other spots just opened up for predator and hog control.

3400acres LF / Schleicher Co between Menard and Eldorado / $2750 per hunter - 8 hunters / family allowed to hunt off quota / 1 trophy, any culls, doe #s depend on the year(usually 20-30 total), turkey, & varmints, no hogs around / rustic cabin with full amenities plus 4-5 camper hookups with sewer / electric $150-200 per year / 200 acre wheat field planted most years but been too dry past two / 4 windmills-wells / good cover with decent deer, but herd was hurt significantly by drought
Looks like we're giving it up this year. Just too much money for the quality and number of deer the past couple of years. Otherwise, the place and owner is great.

$2950 per year per gun for 8 guns on 70,000 acres in West Texas with year round access if we want it just notify that we will be on the ranch and when. Mule Deer, hogs and predators only, no quail/doves or exotics. No camp on the lease have to stay in town and drive back and forth. Long drive but worth it for the quality of Mule Deer and the toughness of the hunting. We do not take many deer per year. Last 2 yrs have taken 2 bucks total per year off of the ranch. Still sounds like a hell of a deal!

riverbottom land that got clearcut a cpl years ago with one dried up slough bed running along the back section (where the hog trap is located). It's a strategically located lease so it's leased and not deer hunted, just wanted it b/c of it's location.

Mine runs $0 because I got off of it!
I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

$1200 per gun, 5 guns, 1300 acres
property is on MLD and includes year round varmint and pigs
we buy protein and seed for food plots, rancher does the plowing/planting
the best part is that it is 15 minutes from my doorstep...

We hunted the Figure 3 back in the early 90s,sounds like it could be the same place...We paid $1000 a gun then, Jimmy Powell was who we leased it from. He's very well known in the area.Good man.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it. Don't text and drive.

Found my lease on here a few weeks ago. Its in Childress County. 380 acres, 2 guns @ 1,500 each. Land owner is a great guy. Allows wife and kids to hunt on there own tags. He supply's electric and water for free. Took me 5 years of looking to find a place like this that will allow me to bring my wife and kids.. We are all ready for bow season to get here..
Already got a few pictures of some decent white tail bucks and a few mule deer bucks..
Only con is its a 5 hour drive, but considering the family goes most of the time its time well spent.
