What's the largest buck you've shot and killed with a bow and how far were you from the buck?

well shot him this year and was my first bow buck scored 139" 10 point and he was at 24 yrds

My largest with a bow was a 10-point Mule Deer (in velvet). Shot him at 38 yards, 2 years ago. I have no interest in scoring, so never measured him. He's in the pix below.

Got it this year---2nd buck with a bow. A 7 pointer with a 14 inch spread and good mass. Shot him at 22 yards with a Thunderhead.

8 point 14.5 inch spread shot at 8 yds quartering away.

101 inch 8 point. Taken at 5yrds, almost directly below the stand.

170 1/8" 11 point.....20 yard shot 70 yard recovery.

My biggest with a compound is a 136" 10 point from Kansas, shot was 15 yards and he went 75 yards and fell.
My biggest with my Recurve I killed this year he was 124" 8 point shot at 16 yrds he ran 25 yrds and fell.

122" 9 point 22yds away.. ran 60yds and crumbled his heart was in pieces!! This was an hour and a half before dark on the last day of this season.

My biggest was a 10 point that I killed on a public drawn hunt. Shot him at 20 yards and he did a back flip, got back to his feet and was looking around to see what happened. Put another Muzzy through him and he ran 20 yards and was done. I have been on this public draw archery hunt 3 times and have killed a good 10 point every time. I have not measured any of them to give a score because to me they scored "just right".

164" 9pt I had been hunting for 13 days straight...shot him on friday the 13th. Shot was 24 yards and he didn't go much more than 40-45 yards. The rage 2 blade put a hurting on him.

The 10 in my sig this year. First buck with a bow, second deer with a bow. 33 yards Rage 2 blade.

This past Nov in Ks. 166 3/8" and shot him at 13 yds.

130" 9 pt at 24 yards. Rage 2 blade piled him up after about 60 yards.

122 gross, 114 net. 12 yards.

I shot my 9 point @ 7:28am opening morning 10/01/11. He was 15 yards. He Gross scored 146 5/8 & Nets 139 7/8.
Not trying to brag but he has been accepted by Texas Big Game Awards and the Pope & Young club.

This was my first year with a bow and my biggest buck had 2 points haha but he sure does taste good. Shot him at 12 yards with a Rage. Deer season wasn't so good to us this year but hopefully next year will be different.

Thanks guys!! Would you believe I had one way bigger than this one earlier in the morning? He stayed out about 50 yds from me with a tree between him and me. The deer I shot was 16 in wide. This other one had to be 20 in or wider. Also, he had longer times as well, especially on his G1's. Probably 8 to 10 in. brow times.
