I've seen this doe around the place for about 3 years. I've passed it up countless times but I decided to take it today. I've never seen one with spots like it, I know the fawns have them obviously but this one is way past that, she's big for the area I'm in. Just thought I'd share the pics, thought it was kinda strange but may not be although I've never seen it.

That's definitely interesting... At least 3 years old and still having spots... I've never seen that before..
If you don't have time to do it right the first time, will you have time to do it over?

Interesting looking deer. I just hunted a friends place, and he has a doe with a white spot behind each shoulder and another with a white spot on each hip. None with that many spots though.

It happens from time to time. Those are not fawn spots though, they are something that deer would most likely have all of her life. The buck in my sig pic had something similar and thats why he got the nick name "Patch" due to his white patch on his shoulders.

Looks like she is a piebald deer. This is a genetic condition which is rare with typically less than one percent of white-tailed deer ever having it.

X2 x3 but I have also seen this happen when the deer had a flesh or skin wound also. Seems that sometimes the hair will grow back white when it happens.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

Yeah and i heard that the meat on these does is extremly stringy, so if you'll give me the name of the processor, i'll pick it up and discard that stringy meat for ya. LOL

i know in horses that if they get a hot spot on there back or sores that they will sometimes loose the pigment in that hair and it will turn white. none the less that is still very unique and look very good tanned
