I have a yellow lab that will be nine years old on valentines day. Not sure if he is too old to breed, but I would really love to get a female from him before its too late. He has been a great dog. Easily trained by myself and has retrieved many ducks throughout the years. I still take him on hunts when there aren't too many dead trees in the water. He has never been to any field trials or hunt tests. Does anyone have a registered female they would like to breed?

Most people will want to know the results from eye, hip/elbow, EIC, and CNM tests when they choose a dog for their breeding.

I'm not really looking for a professional breeder, or to make money, I was just hoping someone out there had a female hunting buddy they were thinking bout breeding.

Good luck man. Most folks on here want to read all of the above mentioned before they'll consider it. It's tried on this section a lot with minimal success.

Thanks for the feedback. Where do I go to get these tests? How much will they cost?

CNm and Eic are under a hundred depending on who u use. Hip and elbows over 200 easily. Eyes depends on which ophthalmologist u use.
