I appreciate any help on this.

Tim Kelly or Clifton Tyler... Both are the best in Eagle Lake

Same here! All these guys can out you on birds. Them whites got smart years ago. I can't stand hunting them unless it's conservation season.

Geese on the prairie are being stubborn right now. I would wait until electronic calling season. Just my .02.

Been hunting them quite a bit lately in Eagle Lake/Wharton/El Campo/Egypt/East bernard.

Second that. Went out last Friday AM in Eagle Lake area.
11 birds total. 4 guns. Maybe had 3 birds actually decoy.

No bad days hunting

Mike Lanier was my guide on our hunt, but he has other guides in his outfit. He hunted with us because there's a history, he used to guide with my Dad 30 years ago under the well known outfitter Marvin (can't think of his last name). He hadn't seen my old man in 30 years and it was a treat to hear them exchange stories over the years....Mike was awesome behind the call, we shot 22 ducks and 4 geese in well made blinds on flooded rice. He has over 30 flooded fields at his disposal, all with blinds if Im not mistaken. Hope this helps.

Oh, and we had 3.5 in our hunting party (+ Mike). I say .5 because one of the hunters was my uncle's future son-in-law on his first duck hunt.

Nice, my father in law Wayne Zimmerhanzel guides out there quite a bit. You say "Marvin"? Talking about Marvin Tyler im assuming. I guide for his son Clifton Tyler from time to time. Small world. Glad yall a good hunt
