I figured I'd post something here and see if it goes anywhere. I'm looking for a private area to shoot on. I do custom load work up and ammunition, and would like to find something on private land with good back stops, if possible. I test loads at 200 and 300 yards, and shoot about 25-30 rounds per rifle when I go. I normally take 2 rifles per range trip. I'm looking to stay within 45 minutes to 1 hour of Far North Dallas/ Carrollton area. I have been a range officer in several tactical competitions and IDPA shooting events, and understand proper firearm safety. I have portable target stands, and will pick up all brass, and leave nothing behind. I'm not looking for a place to hang out and shoot tons of rounds. It will be for work. theres a range near leonard texas called top gun shooting club their website is topgunshootingclub.com theyve got a 500 yd range .

I have been going to Top Gun as my main range. He's open on Thurs-Sat. It's a great place and my prefered range to go to. I need something I can access more often, and set up and check targets and a chrono without having to wait for a cease fire each time.
